When The Second World War Broke Out School Was Closed Down and the Military Has Acquired the Building. The Ceylon Moor Ladies’ Union found a generous benefactor, who is non other than Sir Razik Fareed who was philanthropic to donate his land and a few buildings at fareed place to reopen the school. The school was officially reopened on the 1st of November 1946 by Honourable Minister of Education, late Mr. CWW Kannangara. College song

School of our youth we pledge to thee,

Our love & faith & loyalty,

Teach us with simple faith to trust,

All powerful Allah wise & just.

Teach us to go to grow & take our place,

As gracious women of our race,

When need arise be friend indeed,

No difference make in caste or creed.

Teach us to shirk nor task or test,

To work & play with joyful zest,

To help to build from year to year,

A heritage that shall endure.

Teach us to walk our various ways,

With memories of these sunny days,

Let future joy and pain both find,

A steadfast heart & quite mind.

School of our faith our hope our pride,

Through all these year’s are friend & guide,

Our loyalty we pledge to thee,

Head, heart and hand through the years to be.
